Proprio Direct Inc. (hereinafter: « Proprio Direct ») is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information obtained in the course of its business with its customers.

This information is primarily used to manage and improve our website and any technical issues that could affect it. This site uses Google’s Remarketing service which allows Google to show our ads on sites on the internet. Use:
Proprio Direct uses collected personal information solely for the purposes of its business relationship with you. In particular, this allows Proprio Direct to better guide you, to make relevant suggestions, and thus offer you personalized services when you want to buy, sell or rent a property.
Disclosure:
Proprio Direct does not disclose your personal information to third parties unless you have given your consent or unless the law requires us to do so (i.e. criminal and penal matters or an agency under law prevention, detection or repression of crime or statutory offenses requires it in the exercise of its functions, if the information is necessary for the prosecution of an offense under a law applicable in Québec or in an emergency life endangerment, health or safety situation of the concerned person).
We take care that your personal information is not sold, exchanged or otherwise distributed to third parties unless we have your permission.
Accuracy:
Every reasonable effort is made to maintain up-to-date, accurate and complete personal information in our archives.
Conservation :
Proprio Direct retains your personal information, ensuring its confidentiality, as long as it is required for our business relationship with you. This information will be destroyed if you make the request in writing.
Protection and security:
Proprio Direct has taken reasonable security measures to protect personal information collected, used, disclosed, retained or destroyed. Access to your personal information is limited to people who require same in order to provide the required services, including the real estate broker assigned to your file.
This data is stored at our head office in Laval or hosted in secure places. Your personal information will not be transmitted abroad for the purpose of conservation.
Access and correction of personal information:
You can obtain access to the personal information we have about you and you can have it corrected. However, a request for access or correction may not be considered unless it is made in writing by a person who proves his identity as the concerned party, as a representative, heir or successor of the latter, as liquidator of the estate, as the beneficiary of a life insurance or a death benefit, or as the holder of parental authority even if the underage child is deceased.

Access to personal information contained in your record is free. However, a fee may be required for the transcription, reproduction or transmission of this information.
Your request will be processed promptly. We will respond no later than 30 days from the date of its receipt.'If we agree to your correction request, you will receive a copy of any personal information that has been changed or added or, when applicable, an attestation of withdrawal of personal information.

Proprio Direct responds promptly to all your questions, concerns and complaints about the privacy and security of your personal information as well as the present protection policy of your personal information.
